During this period shows like Gunsmoke, Dragnet, Escape, The Six Shooter, Tales of The Texas Rangers, The Halls of Ivy, Fort Laramie, Frontier Gentleman & Have Gun, Will Travel all made their debut. Meanwhile, great older shows like Jack Benny, Fibber McGee, Suspense & The Lux Radio Theater remained on the air & produced some of their best shows.
